- I'm sure it's not a problem if the PPD file has provisions for DL and other
- sizes, but it's the other PPD files, and the fact that I print a broad range
- of job sizes direct from the laser, that has me concerned.
-
- I own a Star StarScript 4 laser, for which there is no PPD available,

- suggestions for other, more compatible, PPD files.
-
- Ideally, I'd need one with support for DL (yes, the printer supports it) and
- preferably the option of Custom--I regularly print job and client cards for
- people, and as they're usually very small runs needed in a hurry these are
- printed direct on the laser, and are often of slightly obscure sizes.
-
- As Pagestream won't let me choose how to place the image on the page, I need
- Pagestream to at least know the boundaries of the media, and this will
- require access to a Custom option.
-
- Just as a side note, I'm guessing Soft-Logik has no intention whatsoever to
- implement something similar to ProPage's Postscript Specs window? I'd still
- dearly love to have total print control back again...
